TV Show Overview: The Double (CDrama)

The Double is a revenge-driven historical drama that blends betrayal, identity-swapping, political intrigue, and slow-burning romance into one addictive watch. With sharp plotting and a fiercely intelligent female lead at its center, this series delivers calculated tension, emotional payoff, and the kind of satisfying “watch her rise” energy that keeps viewers hooked episode after episode.

The Double was also one of my first cdramas and I finished all 40 episodes within a week! When you watch it, give it a chance; the first few episodes might seem a tad slow but keep in mind that it’s just setting up the story. This show is definitely worth watching if you love smart leads and justifiable revenge. PSA to everyone who watches this show, there is an extended ending that is not on netflix… WATCH IT! I had a flood of mixed emotions when I initially finished the show before I realized there was an official post-credit scene.
